Day 14

Women are such a topic in this world huh? Women are so important…But, Allah makes sure to keep women on a high standing in Islam!. If you aren’t able to see this, you my friend, are doing it wrong. (It as in Life…lol not trying to be philosophical).

I was in the kitchen (oh, when a women is willing to do housework, not only is it nice to do for the family, but also you are getting reward as Jihad!.
” “Women asked Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), ‘O Messenger of Allah, by performing Jihad the men have grabbed Allah’s favours. Is there any deed that we women can do through which we can obtain the same reward of performing Jihad?’ The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, ‘Yes, if one of you does the work of her house it will fetch her the same reward as performing Jihad.’” [Baihaqi]All the work that is performed inside the house – whether it be related to cooking, cleaning, taking care of children or organizing things – can be a source of great reward for women. So don’t complain about it. If you want Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) to give you Jannah in return for this simple work, thank Him for providing you with this easy way in which to earn the great reward of Jihad, and do it happily.”

I try to remember that…anyway as I was saying, when I was in the kitchen, my sweet mother put a lecture on of Mulana Tariq Jameel.
He was talking about Maryam aka Mary (Peace be upon her) and he talked about Isa aka Jesus (Peace be upon him). [Hazrat Mariam ra by Maulana Tariq Jameel: http://youtu.be/DnKtoZCS4V8%5D

The link above is in Urdu… But insha Allah I will write more about it in my other posts. I actually wanted to share one of the things that melted my heart. It was that in Islam, women are so pure and honored that only Mary (Peace be upon her) is mentioned for the sake of telling Mary (Peace be upon her) and Jesus (Peace be upon him)’s situation…all the other women aren’t because thats how pure we are supposed to think of women!!!!

Btw Eid Mubarak everyone!!! (I’m finally editing this post, so now its a but late but watevs)

The point was, ‘its all about how you think about why something is the way it is…it defines you and your thinking…sadly people might say and think something opposite when the reason is something else’.

Salam. Peace!

Day 13

Making sincere Dua….its one of the blessings. SubhanAllah, we are able to ask Allah what ever which we want!. Allah is so kind to us!. Allah tells us to ask Him whatever because He will give!. You only have to belive in Allah, the Creator, and Allah will give!. If not in this world, surely in the hereafter!

“Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication) He becomes shy to return them empty” (Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi)
http://www.muslimyouthmusings.com/the-power-of-dua/

One of the most powerful Dua’s to make and ask from Allah:
“Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil ‘akhirati hasanatan waqina ‘adhaban-nar.””Our Lord! grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire.” (2:201) Ameen.

You can ask Allah in any language, Allah is the Creator, Allah knows every single one! Oh, BTW MAKING DUA IS A FORM OF IBADAATH (Worship)…so convenient!

And if you dua for someone who isn’t present, it will be answered quicker, and by making Dua for another, its as of you are making Dua for yourself as well!!! Oh, Allah, you ARE the most Kind!

Pst….Dua for me.

Salam. Peace!

Day 12

Its all about perspective and your level of understanding. Also, so very useless to argue with the ignorant people, who have been brainwashed by what they see around them and start accepting that lifestyle, not because its the ‘norm’ these days, but also because its easy…a pleasurable style of living. You can’t force someone to live another way… Only dua for them that Allah the Mighty and Supreme, will turn their hearts and give them understanding and guide them on the Right path.

I wish some people would just see things how they are meant to be instead of trying to reason with what their ego wants or doesn’t. Be stronger than that!!!

If only. And the mother prays for her child morning and night. If only, you are able to pull the curtains from your eyes. May Allah guide us all. Ameen.

Salam. Peace!

Day 9

“Prophet (peace be upon him) said Ameen thrice when Jibreel come and said..

Kaab Ibn Ujrah (RA) relates that Rasulullah (peace be upon him) said Come near to the mimbar and we came near the mimbar. When He (peace be upon him) climbed the first step of the mimbar, He (peace be upon him) said “Aameen”, When He (peace be upon him) ascended the second step, He (peace be upon him) said “Aameen”, When He (peace be upon him) climbed the third step, He (peace be upon him) said “Aameen” When He (peace be upon him) came down, We said “O Rasool of Allah (peace be upon him), we have heard from you today something which we never heard before” He (peace be upon him) said When I climbed the first step, the angel Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) appeared before me and said

“Destruction to him who found the blessed month of Ramdhan and let it pass by without gaining forgiveness”

upon that I said ‘Aameen’. When I climbed the second step, he said,

“Destruction to him before whom thy name is taken and then he does not make Dua for Allah’s blessing on me (by saying, for example , Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam).”

I replied ‘Aameen’. When I climbed the third step, he said

“Destruction unto him in whose lifetime his parents or either one of them reaches old age, and (through failure to serve them) he is not allowed to enter Jannah”.

I said ‘Aameen’. (Hakim, Baihaqi)

Note In this Hadith, it appears that Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) gave expression to three curses, upon which Rasulullah (peace be upon him) said Aameen every time. In al-Durr al-Mansoor it is reported that Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) advised Rasulullah (peace be upon him) to say Aameen. Being an angel of such high mark, Jibraeel ‘s giving these curses is sure to be accepted. May Allah (Subhanahu wa Taala) in His infinite mercy grant us His help and save us from these three dangers.”

Day 8

Being a worry wart (ew), one of the hardest things for me is to not worry…durf. Its hard to keep your head clear.

Tips to keep your head not occupied by nonsense:

1) State your intention of whatever you are supposed to do.
2) Fill your mind with good things, or recite surahs or names of Allah.
3) Don’t worry, everything has its own time.
4) Stress makes you lose concentration and gives you wrinkles.

There you have it…am I missing any other tips??

The point is…read everything written above.

Salam. Peace!
