Day #29

Love for the sake of Allah. It ends the argument and self loathing in your head all the time. Alhumdulilah. I’d explain more but, I am saving that for another post, Insha Allah. Dua for me!

“On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection: ‘Where are those who love one another through My glory? Today I shall give them shade in My shade, it being a day when there is no shade but My shade.'” [Bukhari (also by Malik).]”

That was the point. And aren’t you excited that its almost the 30th post!!! Better late than never, right? I don’t like quitting.

Salam. Peace!

Day #21

Hi,

Nine more posts till my over-due 30 days of Ramadan2014 marathon of blog posts. I’m so bad at this haha.

I’m carrying on about the topic of ‘People’, which I introduced [if thats what you wanna call it…] in my previous post that I published literally three minutes ago. This one is simple and to the point, as all the other 20 posts [get it…lol. ‘Cause each one has the ‘The point is” punch line (?) at the end. Consistent and clever me.]

So, just don’t judge anyone. And assume the good in them!

That was the point.

OH, and I couldn’t resist not inserting an image for this post. So, “You’re Welcome” [I just quoted Sadie from ‘Awkward’.]

Day #20

Well, more like #IDEK [I don’t even Know..is that a real thing?]. Anyway…I am just pondering about people and situations..or how I should be freaking out about my exam. People are so ‘unknown’ right? Well, thats ’cause we don’t know them. I was with a few of my friends [yes, I have friends] and one of them [and yes, there are more than two] says, “oh, you’re so chill, and relaxed all the time!”…My dumb-reflex-ungrateful-response was, “um…I have so many problems”. She got me though. She said, “…everyone does”.

The point is, “You aren’t alone. In one way or another every person is going through something. Suck it up and be thankful for everything, and YES Allah tests those who He knows can take it. There is always something to come out of it.” Trust me, I know…lots of experience Alhumdulilah!

Salam. Peace!

Day 19

“Believers are merely those whose hearts feel wary whenever God is mentioned and whose faith increases when His verses are recited to them. On their Lord do they rely. Those who keep up prayer and spend some of what We have provided them with are truly believers” (Quran 8:2-4).

Asmah [RA] related that the Prophet [Peace be upon him] said: Spend, and do not count, lest Allah counts against you. Do not withhold your money, lest Allah withholds from you. Spend what you can. (Bukhari, Muslim)

Abu Huraira [RA] related that the Prophet [Peace be upon him] said: The Lord’s commandment for every one of His slaves is, ‘Spend on others, and I will spend on you’. (Bukhari, Muslim)

Day 17

I had a friend over in between classes the other day, and she was talking about how everything bad always happens with so and so… She blamed it on ‘bad luck’.

I read that ‘What ever good comes to you is through Allah, and the bad is bought onto by oneself’. She didn’t understand this and started to say something against this, then she got a text message before I could explain to her what I meant. And so, like many topics, this too disappeared, because of something else interrupting it.

I mean, all the bad that happens, does come from ones self, right? Like its consequence; thats how I see it. I don’t mean like natural disasters and such, or something on a national or global level. I meant on a personal level…that only involves you. If you go against the ways of ALLAH, ignore the warnings, blow up your ego to such a degree that you put yourself and your so called ‘understanding’ of ‘your own’ life, then somethin’ bad ’bout to come of it. I would love to explain this further, but my laptop battery is at 10%.

The point is, “Think about why you are here, learn, explore, search for answers till they make sense ALL THE WAYS. Of course they won’t make sense at once, but thats why you are given these number of days…Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: “Seeking Knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim.” [Muslim: one who is in submission to Allah. {Allah- The one and only GOD, with nothing/no one associated with Him}.]

Salam. Peace!
